World Environment Day Observance at GWLP School Hosabettu
Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat will observe World Environment Day 2026 on 05 June 2026 at GWLP School, Hosabettu.
The programme aims to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices among students and the local community. As part of the observance, various activities including tree plantation, environmental awareness sessions, and green initiatives will be conducted.
The event will be attended by Panchayat representatives, school authorities, students, teachers, members of various committees, and local residents. Through this programme, Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat reaffirms its commitment to environmental conservation and the creation of a cleaner, greener, and sustainable future.

Digital Access Committee Meeting Held at Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat A meeting of the Digital Access Committee (DAC) under the Samriddha Grama Project was held at the Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat Office. The meeting discussed various initiatives aimed at strengthening digital infrastructure and improving internet accessibility for citizens across the Panchayat. The committee reviewed the progress of providing high-speed internet connectivity through the Amended BharatNet Project, which is being implemented to enhance digital access and support e-governance services, education, healthcare, and other online public services in rural areas. During the meeting, it was highlighted that Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat has achieved a remarkable milestone by emerging as the highest data-consuming Gram Panchayat in India to date. This achievement reflects the Panchayat's successful adoption of digital technologies and the increasing utilization of internet-based services by residents and institutions. The committee reaffirmed its commitment to expanding digital inclusion, improving connectivity, and ensuring that the benefits of digital transformation reach every household in the Panchayat. The members also discussed future strategies to further strengthen digital infrastructure and promote greater use of online services among the public. The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to making Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat a model for digital empowerment and rural connectivity.
